You deserve a safe space to be heard, understood, and cared for.
Individual Therapy
At Sullivan Counseling Collective, individual therapy is a collaborative, personalized experience designed to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change. Whatever it is your navigating-therapy can be a place to receive objective feedback to help you determine what your next steps can be to yourself to the life that you want.
My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based therapy. This means we don’t just talk about your thoughts — we explore how your experiences live in your body and help shape the patterns and choices in your life. Together, we’ll work together to determine emotional regulation skills and practical stools that will work best for you.
Clients often share that sessions feel comfortable and natural — like talking to a trusted friend — while still being purposeful and growth-oriented. You’ll leave with deeper self-understanding, concrete strategies, and new perspectives that help you respond to life with more clarity and confidence. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths and create a life that feels aligned, balanced, and authentic.
Toxic Relationship Recovery
Toxic and narcissistic relationships can happen in romantic partnerships, families, friendships, or workplaces. Whether the abuse was emotional, psychological, or physical, the effects can linger long after the relationship ends. Over time, you may even stop trusting your own instincts.
In our work together, we will focus on:
Rebuilding safety and stabilizing trauma responses
Breaking trauma bonds and processing what happened
Restoring your identity, confidence, and voice
Rebuilding self-trust and strengthening boundaries
Learning how to recognize red flags so you no longer become vulnerable to narcissistic dynamics
Healing is about reclaiming your value, trusting yourself again, and creating relationships rooted in respect and emotional safety. At Sullivan Counseling Collective, you’ll find a supportive place to not only help you move forward but also to heal.
Christian Counseling
At Sullivan Counseling Collective, faith can be integrated into your counseling . This is not surface-level “just pray more” therapy. It is trauma-informed, clinically grounded care that makes space for your real spiritual experience — which includes any doubt, anger, grief, and questions.
Many Christians carry spiritual wounds. These wounds could be due to experiencing a trauma that led to deep questions and confusions about their faith. Or it could be from experiencing spiritual abuse or religious trauma from leaders that you trusted.
You may feel shame for struggling, confusion about what was truly biblical, or fear of disappointing God. There is room here for all of it.
What it will look like:
Processing spiritual and relational trauma
Untangling harmful theological messages that contributed to shame
Rebuilding a healthier understanding of God and self
Exploring boundaries within church or ministry settings
Learning to distinguish conviction from toxic shame
Your healing does not require pretending you’re okay. I don’t promise to have all the answers- but I do promise to offer a safe place to process what you’ve been afraid to say out loud in church and together we can find the path toward peace.
FAQs
What is the cost of services?
1
My fee is $125 per individual session. While I am a private-pay provider, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on household income. If you’d like more information about sliding scale availability or rates, please reach out to me directly to discuss options.
.
Why private pay?
2
I operate on a private pay basis so I can focus fully on you—not insurance companies. By not working with insurers, I’m able to protect your confidentiality, avoid requiring a mental health diagnosis solely for reimbursement, and design treatment around your goals rather than coverage limitations. Private pay also allows for greater flexibility in session length, frequency, and approach, so we can tailor the work to what truly serves you without outside restrictions.
